FC28-48 Bed Side Table

This is another dumpster inspired object. I found some FC28-48 alluminium extrusion in a dumpster, and i imediatly loved the colour of it. This stuff is usually used as furring chanel/batoning in plaster or other ceilings. I used a folding technique and pop/blind rivets to construct this small bed side table from it, i used all steel rivets to keep things cradle to cradle. So the whole steel frame can be recycled at end of life. I wanted to use Glass for the top and bottom surfaces but I could not afford it, and had some perspex which came off some laboritory equipment instead (not sure how recyclable perspex is though, let me know if you do).
